NOTES
The default number of supported ports for any controller is listed in the Embedded Voice Mail - Default Settings form. To increase this number, a reduction in other system functions might be required. In some cases, it might be necessary to reduce the number of ports below the default settings. See the MiVoice Business Engineering Guidelines and the System Engineering Tool for resource allocation.
The amount of disk space available for voice mail backup on controllers with conventional (spinning) drives is 4 GB. Messages must be deleted to reduce the overall voice mail file size to this amount before attempting a backup.
The 16 GB solid state drive or compact flash can support 100 hours of voice mail messages with no backups. Maximum backup capacity is 33 hours, which in a 100-user system works out to 26 voice mails lasting about 20 minutes each per user. For more capacity, use a spinning drive.
Although, 250 hours of storage is available, you can only backup 80 hours of storage. It is recommended to reduce the voice mail storage to 80 hours prior to backup.
